TYA Jr Summer Theater Program • Register • View Cart •

TYA JR. is designed to encourage the development of theatre performance skills, including solo & ensemble acting, singing, and movement.  This program provides the opportunity for students to hone their skills among peers with the same passion for the performing arts. Director: Maurya Brown, a Trumbull resident, will be returning to TYA Junior this summer to direct this exciting musical theater camp that culminates in live performances on August 8th & 9th.

Lion King Jr

Disney's The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world! The African Savanna comes to life with Simba, Rafiki, and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back.

Rehearsals begin July 7, 2025
Rehearsals are Mon. - Fri.,  from 1PM - 5PM
Trumbull High School Auditorium
72 Strobel Rd., Trumbull, CT 06611. Location subject to change.
Additional rehearsals may be added for dress rehearsals.

Performance Dates:
August 8th & 9th,  2025. 

Participation Fee:
Trumbull Residents - $435 (non-residents $500)
Space is limited to 50 students.
Non-refundable unless canceled. 20% discount for Siblings
