TYA JR. is designed to encourage the development of theatre performance skills, including solo & ensemble acting, singing, and movement. This program provides the opportunity for students to hone their skills among peers with the same passion for the performing arts. Director: Maurya Brown, a Trumbull resident, will be returning to TYA Junior this summer to direct this exciting musical theater camp that culminates in live performances on August 7th & 8th.
Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
Rehearsals begin July 6, 2026
Rehearsals are Mon. - Fri., from 1PM - 5PM
Trumbull High School Auditorium
72 Strobel Rd., Trumbull, CT 06611. Location subject to change.
Additional rehearsals may be added for dress rehearsals.
Performance Dates:
August 7th at 7pm
August 8th at 2pm
Participation Fee:
Trumbull Residents - $480 (non-residents $550)
Space is limited to 50 students.
Non-refundable unless canceled. 10% discount for Siblings
