Beginner: Player has either never held a racquet or has played sparingly without formal instruction.

Intermediate: Player can keep ball in play consistently, can hit with some spin, can serve and rally consistently.

Basketball League - K-1st Coed Our basketball league is offered to Trumbull residents grades K-12. Under the supervision of volunteer coaches, players will participate in ONE GAME PER WEEK during the designated time slot for their age/grade. Grades 4-8 may have optional practices added at the coaches discretion depending on facility availability. Participants must register for the league that corresponds with the grade they are enrolled in during the 2025-2026 school year. Teams will be made by the Parks and Rec office and players will be given a Basketball League t-shirt or jersey (included in the registration fee). Team/coach requests will not be permitted.
